But I did remember to take pictures of something that's been on my painting desk for a couple of years now, a 3d printed dragon that I bought as a bit of an excitement to see what these 3d printed models were like.
I don't know all the technical jargon or any of the names of the materials used however I did find the model hard to clean up, flash being a bit tricky to get rid of. Also some of the detail was a little light in places but that's probably something to do with the design file or some such digital wizardy.
Anyway, taking my time to paint it had paid off as I actually enjoyed putting the effort in to the detail after letting it languish for so long. I enjoyed the eyes which is weird cos normally I hate that part.
It'll probably end up as a scenario objective or something for a skirmish game at some point.
